Canyoning

Taking advantage of the recent rains and excellent weather, on Saturday we had an adventure, just as the season was coming to an end. The Muga, as it flows through the Garrotxa region, is a river of clean, clear waters that crosses the northeast of Catalonia, and this is where we undertook a water trekking adventure suitable for almost everyone. 

It's a beginner-level canyon descent, where jumps can be avoided. You just need to put on a wetsuit, get into the river, and let yourself be carried along by this ideal space of pools and cinders beaches that constantly invite you to swim.

This activity has hiking as its guiding theme and revolves around discovery. As you descend by swimming, jumping and walking, you will admire its gorges, explore the shapes sculpted into the rocks, and learn about the vegetation and animals that live there.

A playful, very basic activity, ideal for doing as a family, with a group of friends, or for energising a conference or incentive.
