Environmental Volunteering

They say you have to lead by example, right? We were hired on a Saturday to organise an environmental volunteering day at Saler beach, in front of the Parador Nacional. The corporate social responsibility initiative was part of a Family Day aimed at raising awareness among the little ones, and it mainly consisted of removing microplastic from the beach, a mammoth task.

So, the next day, some of our team joined the volunteering that was organised on Montgó beach in l'Escala, in the province of Girona. Initially, we were going to carry out the action using kayaks, tracing the coastline of this town, but the rough seas made us give up, and in the end, we carried out a clean-up of the beach and its adjoining land.

I'm not going to detail how extremely unhygienic we are, because we're genuinely pathetic, so with this post we just want to congratulate everyone who sacrifices their day off for the cleaning of what many consider to be their private bin.
