Solidarity Gymkhana by teams where each challenge adds up to support people in social exclusion. We collaborate with Homeless Entrepreneur. With the participation of Andrew Funk, founder of the organisation, who will share his inspiring story.
The Homeless Team Challenge is a programme designed to improve the lives of homeless people by bringing together teams of individuals who are committed to making a difference. Participants engage in various activities, such as fundraising, volunteer work, and raising awareness about homelessness. The goal is to foster collaboration, creativity, and a sense of community among participants, while also providing tangible support to those experiencing homelessness. The challenge often culminates in a final event where teams present their achievements and impact.
We divide the group into teams and present them with a series of tests to overcome. These are challenges that depend on good communication and leadership. As they are overcome, the amount of the donation increases.
What is this activity working on within the team?
Empathy, the ability to step outside one's comfort zone, and collective reflection on the social environment. The mix of playful challenge and emotional content generates very honest conversations within the team.
What kind of company or team is it ideal for?
Companies with social responsibility values that want to go beyond donations and create a real awareness experience. Especially recommended for management or leadership teams.
