With teamwork, the group builds functional arm prosthetics which are donated to people in need. Arm Prosthetic Construction is the most transformative CSR activity in the catalogue.
No technical knowledge is required. The kits are designed so that any team can complete the assembly by following the guided instructions.
At the end of the day, the prosthetics are handed over to the partner charity. The team has created something life-changing for someone.
How Does Arm Prosthesis Construction Work?
Each team receives a kit of parts and assembly instructions. With the guidance of a technical facilitator, they assemble the prosthesis step by step. Upon completion, each part undergoes a quality check and is certified for donation. The day concludes with a symbolic handover to the receiving organisation.
What is this activity working on within the team?
Precision, technical communication, and purposeful work. Knowing that what you're building will change a real person's life completely transforms a team's energy. It's one of the most intense team-building experiences there is.
What kind of company or team is it ideal for?
Teams seeking a CSR experience with direct, tangible, and emotionally significant impact. Works especially well with engineering, technology, or manufacturing teams, although suitable for any profile.
