Barcelona Old Town

Last Wednesday, we challenged a foreign corporate group to discover part of our culture in the historic centre of Barcelona.

It was a gymkhana with challenges that encourage interaction with local people, tests that challenge participants to gain cooperation on the streets to be instructed in our customs and traditions.

They ended up dancing the sardana, singing the Barça anthem in Catalan, they had to haggle in the Boqueria market, they were peppered with questions by a resurrected Gaudí, they learned to make “pa amb tomaquet” and, finally, they recreated Columbus's arrival with offerings for the Catholic Monarchs.
