The Hobie Cat is a small sailing catamaran ideal for launching from the beach. They are sporty sailboats with which to enjoy the passion of sailing without the complications of needing large crews, deep water, or harbour anchoring.
The catamaran is the fastest unpowered vessel on the planet. The speeds it reaches are dizzying, and even if the wind is favourable, participants can try hanging from the trapeze, using their body weight as the boat heels over.
Last week one of our clients was fortunate enough to enjoy a combination of a sunny day with a strong wind. A French corporate group of 30 participants who enjoyed a great sailing day with the four boats they had at their disposal.
They say that in the last four decades more people have taken to the water in a Hobie Cat than almost any other sailboat design.
