WCA 2024 Team

Every time we close an accounting period, I feel the urge to thank my team for the year that's ending and wish them a better one.

They're a brilliant group of external collaborators who come to my events with a real desire to have a good time, and for that to happen, it's our duty to be super well-organised, so they can come without a care in the world and with the positive vibes needed to pass them on to the client.

So, when we talk about having everything well organised, it's not just about delivering the service; it's about considering other factors. Let's look at some: arriving at the event without rushing, with plenty of spare time in case of any mishaps on the way; no shoddy work or stress resulting from trying to save on staff; having considered where to have breakfast that also serves as a place for an initial internal briefing; where to stop for lunch afterwards, taking into account any dietary needs; or preventing anyone from having to worry about getting reimbursed for petrol or other expenses they've paid upfront.

Concerns during and before the service fall solely on the shoulders of the conductor. Those antennae are on high alert to ensure everything flows smoothly, with the radar trying to anticipate the unforeseen. Only in this way can you make an event day special for them, so they arrive with enthusiasm and a desire to transmit their good vibes to the participants.

A thousand thanks and happy holidays!
