In the Ebro Delta

The rice harvest begins when the fruit reaches its appropriate degree of ripeness, as indicated by the Regulatory Council. 

In the early days of September, the water level in the Ebro Delta decreases and a harvest begins, which can last until the first ten days of October.

It's the perfect time of year to organise an incentive trip and showcase this region and its customs.

There we have been, the participants have immersed themselves in the rice paddies to learn how to handle sickles, they have learned about the issues with rising sea levels and the reduction in sediment contribution to the river, we have kayaked at night as we passed Buda Island, and we have rowed with the typical 'barcas de perxa' through the shallow waters of the salt pans. 

As the saying goes, “when in Rome, do as the Romans do,” a masterful way to enjoy an authentic and unique area.
