Solidarity Construction

A creative and emotional workshop that unites collaboration, values, and the real impact of helping those most in need. 'Construcciones Solidarias' (Solidarity Builds) gets teams assembling and decorating bicycles or toys that are then donated to a children's charity.

The activity combines manual dexterity, creativity, and teamwork with a very concrete social impact: what you assemble today makes its way to a child tomorrow.

How does Construcciones Solidarias work?

The teams receive the parts, materials and tools to assemble and customise their bike or toy. Each team works at its own pace, makes joint decisions and injects creativity into the outcome. In the end, all the bikes/toys are presented and a symbolic handover of the donation is made to the benefiting children's charity.

What is this activity working on within the team?

Coordination, communication, and the ability to organise to achieve a common goal. And also something that few dynamics manage to achieve: the satisfaction of doing something with purpose, with a real, named beneficiary. Seeing the finished bike or toy generates a team pride that is very difficult to achieve in any other way.
