Last Thursday we were at a restored 18th-century farmhouse in Vall d’en Bas, very close to Olot, to organise another of our favourite activities: a tapas and montadito competition.

La Casa Rural El Ferres, in La Garrotxa, is a charming stone farmhouse surrounded by an idyllic natural setting, ideal for guests to enjoy every moment they spend there.

 

We divided the group into three teams and challenged them to display wit with the aim of convincing our jury that their *montaditos* were the best creations of the night.

 

After some fun teamwork in the kitchen, we sat together at a table to enjoy and taste all the tapas, awarding points one by one for presentation and flavour… and that, my friends, is how you build corporate cohesion through the palate.
