Last Thursday was a very culinary day; while my colleagues Manel, Roger and Alex organised a paella competition at the hotel La Vall d’en Bas (in La Garrotxa), David, Elena and this humble servant were in charge of another rice competition at the rural house Cal Carulla in L’Astor (in El Bages).
At both events, three teams had to cook their own dinner while competing for the honour of being considered “today's Arguiñano”. A team-building exercise in the kitchen that combined creativity and teamwork, as well as being a tasty way to liven up the convention.
As the saying goes, “after the rice harvest, the scarecrow is no longer the same”
A thousand thanks to the team at Rural Events for having us, Begoña y Almudena You're the best.
