Raining Interruptus (27 May 2025)

A group of 300 people on the beach taking part in a competition to determine who worked best in a team, and suddenly, three-quarters of the way through the activity, a 20-minute downpour sabotages the event.

It wasn't that it caught us by surprise, we had been talking to the client for several days about the real possibility of this happening, in fact, we were lucky because most of the downpour was concentrated in the early hours of the morning, and our service was after lunch.

However, this localised afternoon downpour had also been forecast for Lloret de Mar last Wednesday, so customers and instructors alike had to take shelter in the beach bars. Not even the raincoats we always take on our excursions were enough to continue with the activity; we were faced with a genuine case of “raining interruptus”.”
