Facilitation Balls

One of the most important moments of a training session is just before it concludes. It's when feelings are reflected upon, conclusions are reached, and feedback is received from each participant. This ending provides a great boost when guided correctly.

How to conduct a perfect closing. The Moderation Balls help us structure feedback. The facilitator simply needs to throw the balls to the participants and ask them a question. The participants, depending on the ball they receive, talk about what they have experienced and then pass it on to another colleague.

This method allows us to avoid a final energy-draining round and the typical “I agree with him/her…” responses. This achieves much more authentic feedback, as the balls can be used flexibly, according to the needs of the moment.
