🏆 Team Challenges
One action triggers the next, and so on until the end. The Chain Reaction turns the team into architects of a domino effect on a grand scale: each section of the circuit has to connect perfectly with the previous one for the reaction to reach the final point.
The challenge lies in the coordination between groups, the creative design of each section, and the pressure that a single error can disrupt everything. The test reveals how the team organises itself without centralised command, how it manages errors, and how it celebrates collective success.
When the reaction reaches its end without stopping, the feeling is unique — and completely deserved.
How does a Chain Reaction work?
The entire team collaborates to design and build a chain of physical reactions in sequence - Rube Goldberg style. Each subgroup designs its section, which must connect perfectly with the previous and the next. The final result is activated all at once: if everything fits, the complete sequence unfolds before everyone's eyes.
Coordination between groups is as important as the individual design of each section. Negotiating interfaces, adjusting tolerances, and synchronising timelines are where the team is truly tested.
What is this activity working on within the team?
Intergroup coordination, accuracy in communication, and managing interdependence. Each team depends on the work of the others for their section to function. This generates real negotiation and a collective satisfaction that is hard to match when the chain works from start to finish.
What kind of company or team is it ideal for?
Especialmente potente para empresas que trabajan en proyectos transversales o en estructuras matriciales donde la coordinación entre departamentos es crítica. También para grupos creativos que disfrutan de los retos con base artística.
