Catapult Challenge

Yesterday we set up one of our favourite activities. First, you encourage teamwork with a construction, and then you finish the activity with a priceless general atmosphere.

To organise a catapult tournament, teams must be challenged to build a catapult capable of launching an egg as far as possible.

What they don't know yet is that later, in the tournament, we challenged them to catch the egg without it breaking to get double points. This is when we get multiple standout reactions: from fits of laughter at an egg splattered on someone's face to Champions League-style celebrations for a caught egg. A finale with some very powerful laughs.
