Horses by the sea

We always take advantage of our days off to discover activities that we can offer our clients in the future. And this time, we've nailed it. We had to get up early, but it was worth it. Imagine a horse ride along the beach of L'Estartit, with the Medes Islands in the background, ideal for doing during low season when there are no other users on the beach.

This is about the Baix Empordà region, within the Montgrí – Illes Medes and Baix Ter Natural Park, a unique and special place where a diversity of landscapes converge. We are at the mouth of the Ter River (the “Gola del riu”), separated from the central part of the town by a wetland area. The riverbank leaves behind a plain of great beauty, full of crops, fauna, dunes, and native vegetation. And all of it next to the sea, with an extensive and long beach.
