Yesterday we organised a curious Formula 1. Several teams, separated in pit garages, had to build a vehicle and develop a marketing plan. The vehicles had to carry a driver and be propelled by a maximum of 2 team-mates.
To complicate teamwork, the vehicles had to be as similar as possible but equipped differently. So during development, the project managers from the teams met regularly in a separate area to agree on all the details. The challenge culminated in the presentation of the vehicles for inspection and the final Formula 1 race.
With this half-day team building event, in addition to fostering cohesion among attendees in an atmosphere of camaraderie and good humour, we will enhance communication, dealing with limited resources, coordination within each team, interaction between teams, project management, knowledge sharing, creative solutions, strategy development, and leadership training.
