The wall protects a triangular-shaped enclosure with three entrance gates and four towers, and both the walled enclosure and the houses in the old town are notable for their good state of medieval preservation, offering us many corners that transport us to another century.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More surprises: the <strong>Old Bridge, <\/strong>A supremely romantic three-arched construction, dating from the same period as the walls, the delicate and charming <strong>Hermitage of Saint Anthony<\/strong>, and the irrigation canal that crosses the northern part of the walls and which still has public washhouses.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A gem on par with Besal\u00fa, Rupit, or Peratallada. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">#Tourism #Empord\u00e0 #Team
