What went through his mind as the doomed plane plunged down? At TED, he tells his story publicly for the first time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Once they are informed to prepare for impact, Ric shares the thoughts that subsequently invade his attention. The truth is that a testimony of this calibre is impactful, and although we get the impression that his reflections should have come after the collision rather than moments before it, the importance of what he tells us has great value. I would dare to imagine that terror and panic upon knowing the imminent crash do not allow for extensive meditations. There should only be room for fear. Anyway, the order of the factors does not alter the product. Whether before or after the story has a happy ending, the meditations that Ric details for us are, from our point of view, very beneficial.
