People have different styles, and this means we receive communication in different ways. Adapting our communication to the style of the person we are addressing makes <span id=\"sinopsis\" class=\"expand-content expand-hide\">and that we can understand each other better. To achieve a positive relationship between different styles, we need to build bridges of understanding and acceptance. We need to understand what each style needs and what we should avoid. Only then can we overcome misunderstandings and conflicts. Functional relationships are based on the idea that each person has a different relationship style with others, and that these styles can be grouped into four main typologies. From these typologies, the authors propose a methodology for getting to know our interlocutors and adapting our communication to them, so that it is more persuasive.
